It’s back to school time! Or maybe you need to stock up on pencils at the office. Whatever your reason is, you buy American made school & office supplies and want to know what pencils are made in the USA. Excellent! Let me clear up a common misconception first.
You will NOT find Dixon-Ticonderoga pencils made in the USA here. Why? Because Dixon-Ticonderoga doesn’t make their pencils in the United States anymore. Yep. You read that right. They have tried to keep their manufacturing hush-hush and they’ve done a pretty good job of it. It’s still the required pencil on most school supply lists. As a supporter of the Buy American effort, please be outspoken with your children’s teachers and let them know you’ll only buy made in the USA pencils. Even better, send them this page.
