Kawasaki engines are made in the USA in Marysville, Missouri with its manufacturing base located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Kawasaki is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Most Kawasaki engines are assembled from foreign and domestic parts at the Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A. (KMM) at its plant in Missouri.

Owned by Caterpillar, Perkins makes industrial open power units, industrial diesel engines, electric power engines for generators, and marine engines. Perkins engines are made in the USA, China, India, and the UK.
